still kickin'

....man this is one HECK of a busy time of year! I am usually the one that starts buying gifts early'ish (mid November) and ends up spending WAY WAY WAY too much!! however, altho' I don't feel scroogey - I think I just have some sense in me this year and I haven't been buying everything that is "perfect for so and so"... However! My hubster on the other hand is mr. shopaholic this year. And you'd think that might bother me, but NOPE! I'm relieved to have so much already done and without having stepped foot into the MAN STORES.

I keep forgetting to get outsides and take a picture of our house lit up and I sure don't feel like doing it right now. So one of these evenings I'll remember, and when I do I'll share. It's nothing too elaborate, so don't hold your breath! ;)

you might or might not understand...

I don't know why but I have this fettish. (ok, I have 2) but one is that we MUST go to Niagara Falls in the winter! We don't always make it in good weather months, but I just MUST get there in the winter. There aren't many people at ALL {go figure!} ;) It's something I would like to do each year with our kids, and get this FREE PARKING! LOL {sort of an inside joke - my hubby is a cheapskate, but *I* refuse to pay for parking} it's $14 in this one lot and you have to walk forEVAH! to get to the excitement - I think I'd pay like $5? but man alive $14 is robbery! ok, rant over. ;)

So besides free parking, you get to bundle up and walk and walk in the FREEZING cold and there seems to always be a wind on the way back and last night... it SNOWED!!! not just a little... check out our pictures :D I was TOTALLY happy - TOAD-ALLY! FROZEN -cold but happy!

oh and the lights.. that is one of the highlights too!!

I haven't been feeling so hot :( and to put the hustle and bustle of the season in there and the busy everyday life too - sheesh! this chick needs a BREAK!
