quality time

Steve's off enjoying the gorgeous weather on his bike today. So the kiddo's and I went for a late breaky/lunch and instead of coming straight home we ventured off through King's forest for a short hike :) we didn't make it down the gorge, we'll do that next time ;)

just a little update..

I haven't been creating lately - and I'm cool with it ;) The picture above I took from my inlaws front door {that's lake Erie} the white birds are terns
the ducks in the water are I'm thinking wood ducks?

I've been trying to share my time evenly with the kids and hubster, as well as friends, and keeping the fort! -not as easy for some- {including me!}

We had an insanely busy Easter weekend - driving here and there and everywhere -over 300km from fri-sun ~needless to say I do not want to get into the car and I have to do a few errands today :sigh:

over $600 later...

Dawson had his crazy *Extra* tooth pulled today. Originally it was set for April 15th, but I asked to be put on the cancellation list and voila! :) it worked! He was a CHAMP! but thinks he deserves $20 from the tooth fairy {ya, I'm laughing too!} fat chance kid!

Who knew that it cost over $600 to have a tooth yanked out?! man - I'm clearly in the wrong bidnizzz ... good thing for insurance!

So today... was spent TOTALLY doting on my boy and trying not to leave the girl feeling left out.

consumption

so these are some of the things that have consumed me as of lately...

~housekeeping! ugh... I'm not THRiLLeD in the least about it, but I feel SO much happier {inside} to walk into a room and feel that my chances of tripping on something are lessed by a durastic percent! not to mention stepping on and breaking things {ahem ~toys!}

~LaunDRy ...another bleh! but man is it SO nice to see the floors of our bedrooms and the laundry room!

~HomeWoRK! the inevitable and I know it's only going to be worse in the coming years. My recent routine is to get it out and DONE as soon as Daws gets home. At first I was being "nice" and letting him have a snack and some tv first but it wasn't getting done, so then I thought to myself WHO AM i KiDDiNg??? I am not NICE! {snicker} *I* don't get a break so why should he? it's been a good thing .... so far.

I know there are WAY more things for this list, but I'm drawing a blank.

it's a rainy day... my creative juices are flowing. not sure where to begin tho. hmm...

I've totally failed at my picture a day project - but I'm still TOTALLY enjoying my camera when I can and that's cool with me :)

hmmm... what else, what else... uh... the neighbours still have their Christmas lights up {giggle}
tomorrow is suppose to be high of 15 degrees C and SUNNY!

Steve saved all of my pics onto disks last night b/c *I* was worm-worried {rolling eyes}
