easing my way back into it

I've been wanting to work on scrapbooking again, I feel like it's been forEVER!

So this is what I "played" with last night. {there is a transparent overlay on the picture that has swirly distressed designs on it} ;)

I'm SERIOUSLY hoping to do more more more!! I'm SO VERY far behind... as in YEARS! I did the edging on this white cardstock with my Stampin' UP! scallop border punch. I think there must be a trick to get the corners just right, I trimmed them with my paper snips. Everything I used was just random stuff that I have in my "collection".

It's been kinda difficult forcing myself to the basement {where my stamp/scrap space is} to work on anything creative lately. So I've decided to FORCE myself to spend at *LEAST* one day a week down here, to try and stir up some fun!
I haven't updated my blog in a while and for the most part- it's been due to FABULOUS weather!! Somedays I don't even turn my computer ON!

I've been INCREDIBLY busy in my *real life* with my son starting his first year of grade one. Which means school everyday Monday - Friday! it has made for a VERY long week. I hope to get this getting up early thing under control - I have even been going to bed around 9pm myself! I have NEVER been a morning person...heck, I'm not really a night person either ;)

I'm looking forward to getting some creating time in so I can share some more fun stuff with you all!
